Modem and Router
Hello If I want to use a router like TL-R605, if I'm not wrong it doesn't work as a modem right ? So I cannot connect directly to my VDSL line.
My ISP provided me a modem/router (as typical), I need to connect the TL-R605 between the ISP device and my switch ? Is this the correct way ? Because I have read this topology, that is having two routers in cascade, can give issues.
How normally those gateways, like TL-R605, are connected ?
PS. the ISP device cannot be used just as a modem
