Omada Controller Client List not Refreshing
Omada Controller Client List not Refreshing
I have an EAP225 controlled by a Linux Omada Controller version 4.1.5 4.2.4. The "Clients" view in Omada shows connected clients, but it takes forever for disconnected clients to be purged from the list (and in fact, they still show as "connected" even long after they have disconnected). I'd like to get a more realtime view of the clients that are connected; is there a setting I'm missing to get this list to update more frequently or some way to force an update?
I should add, this is not just an issue of the web page not refreshing -- I have it configured to refresh ever 15 seconds and have added the manually refresh button -- it's as though the Controller isn't getting an updated list of associated clients from the EAP225 frequently enough.

But you wasn't asking about devices that was connected, you asked about devices that are not.
If you still have your windows device, i'd like you to try the same process but without importing your configuration - just to rule it out.
Not that i can help here with the issue, just suggesting things i would try.

@rtadams89 it has almost been a year. Did you see it being resolved for you or still the same? I am having the same issue and I am on the latest 4.4.6 on OC200 hardware. I keep seeing disconnected clients or clients saying with the wrong ip after a reboot a gated way and something else played dhcp server. That something else long gone. I have ER7206 router and TL-SG2008P (v1.0) switch and a couple of Eap615-Wall. Cannot upgrade the switch from an armada controller. But the list of clients seems stale. Even when force reconnect from the UI

@rtadams89 unfortunately I seem to be facing a related issue. I simply want to set a static IP for a device.
I go to Clients -> select the client -> config -> use fixed IP check and set
The client still shows as the old IP address and the refresh button isn't working. In addition, I went into the device's settings itself and made sure the IP address was manually set to the new IP and it is on the device, but on the TP link controller, it's still showing the old IP address.
I don't know what's going on, but not having a list of real IP address is concerning. This is a serious problem. I don't know what anything is actually assigned to.
