Downgrade firmware TL-ER6120 du to Mdns - AirPrint issues
Hello.
After I upgraded the TL-ER6120 firmware from 3.0.1 Build 20180724 Rel.80086 to 3.0.2 Build 20200313 Rel.47458
I'm facing now of big issues with AirPrint - Mdns.
here are the list of issues :
The printers take a while to appair
The printers list is not complete.
The client make a print to a listed printer and the response is the printer is not connected.
The Printer disappair sudenly from the list.
Topology:
Router TL-ER6120
Switch D-Link DGS1210-52P
Omada Software (Linux) 3.2.6 into same subnet
5 EAP-245 V3
2 EAP-225 outdoor V1
1 EAP-330 V1/V2
Only One Vlan/subnet is present into the intranet
Printers:
2 Canon Maxify MB5450 (1 cabled lan & 1 Wlan)
1 OKI MC-573DN (cabled Lan)
1 Brother MFC (cabled Lan)
All Printers are with STATIC IP and reply correctly/fast from ping request without paquet lost
All client device that print with direct IP don't get any error and get they print correctly.
in basic synthesis, the Airprint is now unproductiv and give inconstency response.Users are not able to use Airprint from Apple Devices.
All was worked fine with Airprint till the Firmware Upgrade.
Tried to resolve with:
reboot the router and the printer
disable all firewall attack Defense
enable IGMP Proxy V2 or V3
Addon Papercut Mobility Print server software into One Lan computer cabled lan (same issues appaird with this Mdns server broadcasting)
Seems to have major issues with Multicasting packet with latest TL-ER6120 Firmware.
Questions:
Any other solution to try here ?
Can I downgrade the TL-ER6120 Firmware to his previous version ?
without a lost configuration ?
Any TP-Link advise here ?
