Hi guys, We have other switches that we manually reset but this particular switch shows this error.

Maybe is there another way? Thank you!

Dear @mariem56,

Is the Serial line really connected to COM4?

Perhaps you may go to Device Manager on your PC to check it.

How to reset the switch to the default factory settings using PuTTy

@Fae Yes, It's actually my 5th switch to configure reset and configure but then I received this error. I think by default you can't SSH to the switch...

Dear @mariem56,

It's actually my 5th switch to configure reset and configure but then I received this error. I think by default you can't SSH to the switch...

Do you mean that all of the 5 switches have the same error when you try to reset via Putty?

If yes, are you using the same Micro-USB Console Port to reset the switch?

The switch by default can be reset through the Console port. Perhaps you may change a different PC or Console cable for checking.
