Implemented mDNS Service
Hello I was wondering in Omada where I can find the mDNS service ?
I have a TL-R605 router but some IoT devices (especially the once that use Apple HomeKit) do not work or better are unreachable when I put them in a different subnet using VLANs, this is very annoying.
Looking on internet everyone many tutorial (all made on Ubiquiti or sometimes other routers) explain that mDNS repeater is needed, but can't find it in Omada anywhere.
Or eventually is there a workaround or non explicit way to have this done ?
Thanks

Your device looks prety young so maybe they will give you update sooner.
There is no official roadmap from this company, only thing you should be certain - if your device is older - you will get update later.

@Fae hi I tried to switch back to TL-R605 router after 6 months of pfSense to test the mDNS and of course it is not working. The documentation is super weak and well I'm here (sadly don't know why) to ask for a support that probably won't come. With pfSense after 2 clicks every works fine with Tplink nothing.
I'm trying to get my airprint HP printer to be seen by my iPhone, i created a mDns rule with following params: AP, service lan=30 that is the VLAN of the printer, client Lan=100 which is the VLAN of the phone, bonjour service=printers. Printer is not seen (with pfSense perfectly seen). Because the documentation is weak and I don't exactly understand what is client and service VLAN I also made a viceversa rule with service lan 100 and client 30 but again printer is not shown.....
what to do? Is it possible that it's always like this with tplink?

@Xstreem We're waiting on a firmware update for the ER605 to add mDNS support, which should be posted here.
