I have an opnsense router. 

I have two tp link smart switches 

I have an eap225 and 2 eap115's (n300) 

I downloaded the omada controller and am running on windows. 

 

Everything is working fine, Standard, but I'm trying to run vlans to the routers for 3 ssids. 

 

Although they are fairly new tp link switches, they are not amada compatible. 

 

I have opnsense set up for vlans, dhcp and allow all firewall rules. 

 

2 AP's are directly on the Main switch and the eap225 is on a sub 2nd smart switch.

The untagged native 1 is set on the switchs and I am trying to add the tagged vlans to that port as well. 

 

I have the ssids set to the appropriate vlan with the exception of native untagged for 1.

 

I have 2 vlans as tagged on the switch, and also untagged for default 1. It allows me to connect to all wifis but not get data. 

 

Should I set up the third vlan and make it tagged on the switch to the router port on the switch? Do all of these vlans need  to go untagged to the switch? 

 

What do I need to try and do?

Sg-108e v4 is my 2nd switch.

My main switch is tl-sg1024de v4

I'm probably not using the right words.

Default on switch is vlan 1 all ports untagged. 

 

That works great. I did not set up a vlan1. To be clear. 

That works with 1 ssid. Let's call it ssid1

 

What I did was add 2 vlans on the router and then go into the switchs and add those vlans. Then I set the router ports to tagged. Letscall those vlan2 & vlan3. With an associated ssid2 and ssid3. I left ssid1 as it was, untagged. 

 

Do I need to make an actual vlan1 and associate it with ssid1? 

 

And then in the switch tag all three vlans to the 1 router port?

It depends on you. But all the VLANs used on the EAP SSIDs should be tagged to the router port.
