I bought a AC1200 access point with the idea to connect it to my exisiting router.

Dear @kefren69,

I bought a AC1200 access point with the idea to connect it to my exisiting router.

Did I forget to buy something else because it is not really doing anything as expected.

Ensure it's properly hardwired to the router via a working cable.

You may refer to the setup video <How to set up a TP-Link EAP via your mobile phone> below to configure your EAP.

Any further assistance, please let us know what you have tried and what is the result. Thank you!
