Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello Community ,

I recently set a ER605 with Two ISP on WAN and WAN/LAN1 .

I have also enabled Load Balancing and Link Backup

How do I determine that the Load is now being balanced between two connections

I was able to see  that the Link Failover is working when one ISP is down . It does take 6-7 Seconds and traffic resumes

How do I see Load balancing is working and Traffic is getting sent to both ISPs

Appreciate any Guidance.

If you have set up the Link Backup function, then only one WAN are online and used for Internet connection while the other WAN is always standby(offline). If you want both WAN connections work at the same time, please disable Link backup function and simply keep the Load Balancing enabled, for more details about Load Balance feature, you may read this thread.

@Fae

Thanks for your Response,

I have Link Backup Disabled and only Load Balancing Enabled, Now How do I check if its really working and both links are now being used in traffic ?

Should I expect double speed

or Should I expect zero downtime as traffic is divided on both links.

How do I conclude that load balancer is working fine ?
