EAP245 firmware bad file
Hello,
I have WAP EAP245 US version and bought in Canada. I have update recently 5.0.1 firmware from Canadian website and now cannot update anymore with US firmware. I'm getting error message: "Bad file". How I can restore back to US firmware version?
Thank you,

If the product was bought from CA, you should use CA firmware file to avoid any possible legal problem or warranty problem.

I understand and doesn't care about warranty.
Usually CA firmware are outdated and I want to return back to US firmware to be able to be up to date with latest firmwares.
There is a way to return back to original US firmware as first one 5.0.0 which was?

If you are using the EAP245 v3 in Canada, it's recommended to keep the CA firmware to avoid violating the local wireless regulations.
Here is the latest beta firmware for EAP245(CA) v3, which corresponds to the US firmware 5.0.2. Maybe it helps for your case.
Edit: the above beta firmware is for EAP245(Canada) v3 only, it has the following updates:
New Feature/Enhancement:
1. Add AI Roaming function.
2. Add Daylight Saving Time.
3. Add Dynamic VLAN function.
4. Set the default SSID encryption mode as AES.
Bug Fixed:
1. Fixed the bug that we can set invalid VLAN ID in Management VLAN settings.
2. Fixed the bug that the EAP may reboot abnormally during firmware upgrading and cause the device to brick.

Thank you @Fae to share this beta but my question was how I can revert back to use US firmware streamline.
The first firmware of this device 5.0.0 was US one.

As I know, the CA firmware cannot revert back to the US firmware directly.
If you insist on reverting back to US firmware, you may send a request to the TP-Link support for assistance.
