Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20200930 Rel.36519

I recently reorganized my network cables, disconnecting the RL605 and my controller and switch from power.

Now I can't seem to connect to the OpenVPN server configured via the Omada Controller.

It was working before.

I have tried restarting the router, switch, and controller.

But nothing seems to change.

I have also tried deleting the OpenVPN server and readding it, but it also didn't work.

Other devices:

OC200 1.0

1.7.4 Build 20210118 Rel.72627

TL-SG2008P v1.0

1.0.0 Build 20200608 Rel.76470

Any ideas?

Is there any way to view the openvpn server logs?

I think it might be a routing issue since it seems to connect fine when I am connecting from an external network?

Edit: So it looks like I can connect to the OpenVPN server when I am off the network, but not on it. That didn't appear to be the case before?

Do you mean you cannot connect to the OpenVPN server when you are connected to the LAN network of R605 router?

Can you get Internet access from the LAN network of R605 router on the same client without OpenVPN connection?

What's the IP address obtained on the client when it cannot connect?

@Fae Thanks for replying!

Yes, I cannot connect to the OpenVPN server when on the LAN network of the R605 router.

I can get internet access on the same client without the OpenVPN connection.

The IP address of the client is in the 192.168.0.x

The VPN subnet is 192.168.200.x

I also tried connecting to the OpenVPN server using a client connected to the Guest wifi network.

The IP address of the client connected to the Guest wifi network is 192.168.20.x

Previously, I was able to connect to the OpenVPN server while on the LAN network or Guest wifi network.

@Fae How can I view the logs of the router and openvpn server to troubleshoot this?
