Removing VLAN tags using an SG105E between modem and router
The manufacturer of my (third-party - Google Nest) mesh wifi system has suggested that I use a managed network switch to "remove VLAN tagging" between my modem and their router. So I have bought an SG105E to try and achieve this.
However, it is not clear to me what "removing VLAN tagging" means in this context. I know what VLANs are, I know what VLAN tags are, and I know what frames are. I know what my ISP's VLAN ID is (101). But what I cannot work out is how to configure the SG105E to "remove" tags.
Is there a straightforward guide to achieving this using the web config page or utility for the switch?
