I am trying to turn off NAT on a TL-470T+ router.

Here is Cisco's PIX command: nat (inside) 0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0 0
On a Linksys you change from gateway mode to router mode.

Can you do the same thing on the TL-470T+

I need to retain the IP addresses of the LAN devices for traffic management upstream.

As far as I know, there is no option to disable the NAT on the software settings. If you do not use the WAN port, then there is no NAT.

I really need a routed network not just one big LAN.

Is there any CLI command I can use. I really love these routers. They have lots of features for the price. If I can't get this to work I will have to go back to brand X.

Maybe you could get the feature using portbased vlan functionality?

Is this something you can enable on the 470? Or would I need a bigger router like the 480?

Maybe you should take a look into the manual. You can configure VLAN-IDs for each LAN port. But I do not know if the router is able to to some routing between these two VLANs. Anyway, you should be able to connect some separated LANs/VLANs to the internet.

I found the manuals on the CD. The CD also had manuals for other routers. On the 6120 there is a system mode menu where you can check NAT, No-NAT, and Classic.

That is what I need to turn NAT off. The 470 does not have this system mode option menu. I don't want to spend the money on the 6120 because I need several of these routers and am also working with space restrictions.
