Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-WA5210G
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 4.4.7 Build 120821 Rel.56860n
ISP : Comcasst
This is what I would like to setup:
Internet<>WR1043ND<>WA5210G<><><><>0.5 miles<><><><>WA5210G<>WR1043ND
However, before I get to the configuration above, I am testing the connection below
Internet<>WR1043ND<>WA5210G<><><>30 feet<><><><>laptop computer
Problem:
When connecting via WiFi to the WR1043ND, Internet speeds are 23-25Mb/s. When connecting via WiFi to the WA5210G, Internet speeds are 250Kb/s - 1Mb/s. I have set the antenna to indoor, and reduced the power output....but still no change
So what is the problem with the WA5210G?
thanks

To measure the amount of noise in the environment should be done with instrumentation specified, as with software and hardware that can be connected to a personal computer and perform the measurement, in the case of TP-Link, it has a very useful tool to a sweep of the electromagnetic spectrum, but only available in their new PHAROS products, unfortunately, the 5210, 7210 and 7510, are products of the first generation TL and do not bring this useful tool ...

need to make a point to point between my office and my home it is visible straight should give some 4km
Traditional answer is
A pair of CPEs 510
But, bandwidth to pass on the PTP, that will be the key question
CPE510 on datasheet reads 15Kms. but all companies lie
That's under 110% ideal conditions
If you are sharing internet between office & home
I would place a pair of WBS510s plus Dish antenna
Notice: Aligment of WBS is way harder than CPE510, it has 4 degrees of beamwidth
CPE510 has 40 degrees of beamwidth
The point, Aligment on CPE can be done by the pet at home
