@EZL UPDATE: After a hard restart on er605 (unplug the power source, wait 20 seconds and replug) I tryed again and this time works updating via omada interface on oc200, looks like a adoption bug or something like that.

Dear @Zephi,

Here is the information:

OC200:

Firmware Version :
1.8.0 Build 20210406 Rel.58757
TL-R605 v1.0:
Update firmware 1.1.0 (not the beta) >-- to --> 1.1.1

About the time, I tried update via Omada on OC200 and Manual (via bin file in Omada - Custom Upgrade) and both the times takes less than 5 minutes between download (upload in case of manual) and apply.

Thank you for verifying the information. I've reported this upgrade failed issue to the R&D team, who clarifies that the bugs in the older firmware may cause the upgrade to fail and a reboot will fix the issue. So the upgrade will be fine after the reboot, please do not worry about it.

@EZL Same problem here, even the manual update doesn't work and show the same error.

@EZL I was able to successfully upgrade, using the software controller however.

@Zephi thanks,

May I check the firmware version of your OC200?

Can you recall the previous firmware version of your ER605? Did you upgrade the ER605 firmware from 1.0.1 to 1.1.1?

Kind note that the firmware file will only be kept for 5 minutes. If we haven't started Upgrade within 5 minutes after the firmware (.bin file) is downloaded or uploaded successfully, we may receive the error "The upgrade file is invalid. Please select a correct file".

Perhaps you didn't upgrade it in time after the firmware file is ready?
