Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 4.3.5

Hello,

I have the Omada OC200 setup with 3 SSID, one of them with guest network, and I notice two things:

- In the guest network, without portal and same vlan for every network, I'm able to access a samba server by hostname but not by IP (IPv4).

  When I ping that server it return a IPv6 address and it pings.

  If I disable the IPv6 protocol on the laptop, only working in Ipv4, it does what is suppose to do, when pinging the server it resolves the name but don't return the ping and I can not access the samba service.

- I don't have the option to disable IPV6?

It this a know bug?

Best Regards,

David Rodrigues

@DavidR84

Any devices with IPv6 address will have this problem. The guest network blocks devices via ACL rules, but it doesn't have IPv6 ACL. Its ACL rule only applies to IPv4addresses.
