Firmware Version: original from box. can't confirm as cannot connect to UI

Have just bought a new TL-SG108E to expand my wired home network. Upon installing it, used easy setup utility software from TP-Link but unfortunately it cannot be discovered so I am not amble to set it up fully. I tried to press the reset button with the 10sec recommended time and also even until 30sec and it does not work as well. Is there any hard reset can do? Does anyone have encoutered this same issue as well?
