WoL through TL-WR1043ND is already possible.
It is not as easy as on other routers that allow you to forward WoL package to broadcast address but it is still doable. You will need to:
1. Map your PC MAC to a static IP address (check DHCP settings)
2. Set up an ARP Binding entry for that address
3. Set up a port forwarding rule for udp/9 to the static IP address

I tried a lot of things, and the best solution was install the dd-wrt firmware, cause it has the WOL feature.
I hope this will be included in the next tplink firmware releases. I think must be easy to do for the developers.
