Firmware Version: 1.1.1 20210723 Rel.64359

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue where even though I've setup a DCHP reservation through the web client (i.e. NOT using the Omada Controller), the IP I've assigned won't take affect even because it has a previous IP still under lease. I was hoping simply rebooting the client would release the lease and it would grab a new one but it does not.

 

So then, I figured I'd just shorten the lease time and turn the client off forcing it to get a new lease. Now when I go into the web portal, the entire DHCP server tab is gone...

 

 

It used to be here...

 

Anyone have any ideas what's going on here?

The gateway firmware v1.1.1 started to support Multi networks in standalone mode, which removes the separate DHCP Server tab.

To configure DHCP Server, we need to locate to the Network list section under Network -> LAN.

I reverted back to v1.0.1 and it seems to be working fine now. I think there's a problem with the DHCP server settings in v1.1.1.

@Fae , I'm not sure that that's correct, I looked at all 3 of those tabs and there was nothing about lease time on them at all. I downgraded to 1.0.1 which resolved the original issue.

 

However, now, when I go to the Address Reservations, I cannot modify any of my old address reservations. If I add a new one, I can modify that, but anything that was there prior to the downgrade seems stuck at whatever it's at.

 

Is it just me or is the firmware on the ER7206 just not ready for prime time?

 

I'm going to try rebooting and simply restoring a backup of the settings and, if that doesn't work, I'll go back to 1.1.1 and check for the lease settings.
