Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.4

Every 5 minutes or so, my EAP 245 v3 goes through the phases ADOPTING, CONFIGURING, CONNECTED.

This is happening right after the upgrade from 5.0.0 to 5.0.4. A reboot of the EAP did not help.

Seems to be a cosmetic issue only for the moment, I don't loose connections on the clients or the three meshed EAP225s

Logs on Omada Controller don't show anything happening on the EAP 245.

Setup:

Omada SW Controller 4.2.11

EAP 245v3 (EU) fw 5.0.4

This same Omade Controler is handling 4 x EAP225v1 Outdoor (fw 5.0.5) , 2 x EAP225v3 (fw 5.0.5),1 x EAP225v2 Wall (fw 5.0.3).

None are exhibiting the same behavior.

It is however unnerving as while it's going through this cycle, I can't properly manage the device.

@mduchaine

You can try to forget this EAP on the controller and re-adopt it, maybe the problem will be solved lol.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

I've had this exact same issue as well on my 245s on the software controller v5.0.15. It started with an upgrade to firmware 5.0.3, and then improved but still not resolved on 5.0.4. Seems to be worse when there are more users connected, however I only notice it on notifications and the event log. No impact on client connections to the devices.

I wondered if it's related to the bug they apparently fixed between 5.0.3 and 5.0.4 where certain wifi clients would automatically restart the device.
