YES, T1500G-10PS v2.0 and TL-SG2210P v3.0 are both compatible with SDN controller.

  @Hank21
Hello,
this are not two Models, this is one Modell with the following Model-Number

But in the Webinterface only i can see this

So can i update this Modell with Firmware TL-SG2210P(UN)_V3.2_3.20.2_20210806, so that the Switch works with Omada SDN v5.0 and later?

THANKS :)

P.S.: Can anyone say, how long this Model is supportet or when it goes EOL?

Dear @lukass2000

You could see the T1500G-10PS switch which label the corresponding old model name in brackets SG2210P.

Actually they are different model, just with the same software/hardware hierarchy, port numbers and port properties.

And T series switch is more powerful than the corresponding old switch.

The purpose of adding old model name behind the T series switch is to let us know the same hardware hierarchy product.

So you can not upgrade the SG2210P's firmware version.

  @Hank21

Okay, thanks :)

Then the T1500G-10PS is the new Model?
Because in this list HERE is T1500G-10PS v.2 the old modell and TL-SG2210P v.3 the new modell?
I am a bit confused, but that's not the big problem :)

So would the switch with the firmware T1500G-10PS(UN)_V2_20200805 also work with Omada Controller v5, right?

Then there should be the Controller v6.x you can say, would the switch still work?
Or how long will a T1500G be supported?

Thanks :)

T series switch T1500G-10PS is more powerful than the corresponding old switch SG2210P as I mentioned in last message.

No need to worry about that, T1500G-10PS(UN) V2 is also compatible with controller V5.

As for technical support issues, I think you can contact TP-Link support directly for more details.

Hello  @Hank21

I wrote to the TP-Link support and that was the problem, that's why I posted here :)

The TP-Link support wrote me that the T1500G-10PS is EoL and also has no support for the Omada controller.

Only the new model TL-SG2210P would have Omada SDN support.
So now I'm wondering that you wrote that the T1500G-10PS would be the newer model?

All a bit confusing for me ;)

Best regards!

This list shows the model numbers and hardware version numbers of the Omada series of devices compatible for use with the SDN controller for your reference.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/omada-sdn/product-list/
You can see that your product, the T1500G-10PS V2, is listed there. wink

  @Hank21

OK, looks good :)

It's just weird that the G1500G-10PS does not appear on the German site

https://www.tp-link.com/de/omada-sdn/product-list/

Are the supported devices country-dependent?

That would be even stranger?

Thanks :)

  @lukass2000

No. It is not country-dependent. It is likely the regional site maintenance team did not catch this minor update. For some countries that are not English-based, the local team need to translate and update. You can always trust the global site.

About this minor mistake, I will report to the team and update this soon.
