Accepted Add local DNS server to ER605
Please add a local DNS server, like dnsmasq, to the ER605. It's a bug for a business router that's running DHCP to not be able to resolve local host names.

Waw....
I had this feature on a basic Linksys in 2001....
How can TP-Link provide features to link to Omada controler OpenVPN etc.... but not have this basic feature....
In my case, I use a NAS. When I come with my laptop, that sync to my NAS remotely with a TLD, it stop working locally because I can not tell to the local DNS that this TLD should locally redirect to a local IP.... and I need to update the HOST file of each Windows computer.
I feel like I am in 1980.
TP-Link, there is juste here 29 pages of people crying for this feature.
Why you do not listen ?

@mackworth Do we have an idea of when it will be ?
Where can I see the post that says it will be implemented ?
I am looking for a new router because I now really need it for my NAS.

@mackworth thank you
but when i read that, i just translate it could be months and maybe it will not could on standalone firmware.
maybe better to go back to linksys.
i am afraid to wait weeks or months ...
its a pity this model was quite good for a small routeur with dual link and openvpn for a price that is incredible low.

Damn tp link!!! I just spent almost 800 euros on tp link devices, and just discovered this topic. My luck is that I have 14 days to return them.
I have read all the comments on this page. Thanks to all the guys who have commented over the last year while the tp link developers are blowing their noses. ER605 should not cost more than that 20$… And it is clearly not included in the business range, as it says on the box.
