Model: EAP610
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello,

Currently I cannot find EAP610 V2 in Switzerland (only V1 seems to be available). Is there a target date for V2 availability ?

(I'm mainly interested in the new form factor, i.e. ~16cm vs ~23cm diameter)

Thank you in advance,

Sorry stealing the topic, but is EAP610 in amazon.de V2 already ?

I was hoping for V3 which is already listed on the tp-link website ..

As i know V3 will work with 802.11af but will it include POE injector similarly to already mentioned difference for EAP620 HD V3 ?

My local distributor has EAP610 V1 stock unfortunately.

I heard EAP610v2 will be available (in Czechia) in mid of July.

EAP610v1 supports POE+ 802.11at - v2 is just smaller than v2.

I don't have an idea what EAPv3 is (will try to check it out later)

Update: It seems that V3 has lower TX power (1.5 dbi lower), lower power consumption so it's possible older POE (802.11af) will be sufficent.

It also has Mediatek chips. Not sure if it is a good or bad thing.

Hope there will be more official information.
