LACP Issue
I have the TL-SX3008F using firmware version 1.0 and the TL-SG3428XMP using firmware 1.3 and am trying to set up lacp/lag on 2 of the 10G connections between them. Every time I do the TL-SG3428XMP freaks out, drops the connection, locks up, and stops working. The ports and sometimes the entire switch becomes unusable and I usually can't get it working again unless I plug the controller directly into one of the ports that were not set up for lacp and power cycle the switch.

@AndyGR42 Yeah, I set up LACP on both switches through the Omada controller for the ports that were going to be used before plugging any cables into them. I also have 2 other LACP connections, and a static LAG connection set up from the TL-SX3008F. Port 5+6 and port 7+8 are set up the same way and communicate with dual nic hyper-v servers and a Mikrotik switch uses a static LAG setup on Port 1+2 with no issues. I wanted to set port 3+4 to talk to port 25+26 on the the TL-SG3428XMP.
This is an example of how I have the connections set up.
I am using port 24 as the uplink to configure the switch, and then once it is set up, I disconnect it and plug my sfp+ cables in... and that is when the 45+ minute long process of trying to unbrick the switch occurs

The Controller v5.0 has found an issue that the SFP+ ports can only work in 1G mode when LACP is configured, see more details from Here.
If you are using Controller v5.0 to configure LACP, it's suggested to upgrade your controller to v5.1 or later version and see if it works.

I am not having an issue getting the 10G ports to operate at 10G mode. LACP and LAG work everywhere with no issues except only LACP with that one specific switch is an issue. Seems I have to wait for a firmware update according to the last post I saw.

I see, you are already using the latest controller version (controller v5.1 is the earlier version), it seems that your case is different from the post I mentioned above. Could you please show me the last post you saw? I didn't notice other LACP issue on this forum. If it helps, I'd like to escalate your case to TP-Link support team for further investigation.

Although, now that I re-read both this post and your post, I am suspicious that this post was deleted because they thought it was actually the same problem you did at first and then realized it was actually something differrent.

Right, your case is different. We may need to know more detailed information for further troubleshooting.
From your previous description, it seems that there are 2 other LACP connections established successfully between the switches. But just the LACP connections between port 3+4 on TL-SX3008F and port 25+26 on the TL-SG3428XMP are failed. Is that right?
To better assist you, could you please upload your detailed network topology for checking?
Are you using TP-Link SFP + Modules? And what's their model number?
If possible, please elaborate on your configuration steps so that we can try to follow to reproduce and locate the issue.

This is the topology, currently I am using just regular cat6 to connect the TL-SG3428XMP to my Mikrotik CSS326-24G-2S+RM switch which has 2x10G connected to the TL-SX3008F using LAG.
The Mikrotik switch is currently between the gateway and the other devices

May I know the detailed firmware version of your TL-SX3008F and TL-SG3428XMP switches?
Navigate to Devices page, click on the specific switch for Details -> Overview, where you will find Firmware Version such as 3.20.2 Build 20210806 Rel.55686
Edit: Still awaiting your firmware version.
