Hey Guys,

 

Couple of days ago I replace my exsiting router ( TP-link 1600V) with ER605. Everything is fine except my PBX SIP registration fails. I have contacted the SIP provider and they advised they are not getting any registration attempt at their end. Searchin online, it seems link this was a know issue with TL-ER6020 which very simiilar to ER605

my set up is as per below:

 

ER605 <--- Internet ---> CISCO UC320W

 

when I replace the ER605 with an old modem, it works just fine. I haev disbaled the SIP ALG as per SIP provider

  @Sinash Yes mate. I have forwarded all the required ports but still no change. The old carppy modem and a netgear D7000 works seamlesly without needing a port forwarding. I have reporeted the issue to TP-Link and they said below:

 

We suspect that your SIP service uses port 5061, which is not currently supported by ER605 v2.

It will optimize it in the next firmware version.

 

 

The unit is very stable and the GUI has improved a lot. VPN for site-to-site connections also works perfectly.

 

I am hoping they fix the issue soon.

Hey mate,

 

I haven't been given the firmware yet.

 

I let you know soon as I get it.

 

I'll be doing more tests in the next couple of days as per they request,

 

Hopefully the issue can be resolved,

IF that doesn't work... Try to disable SIP and H323 ALG. SIP ALG confuses some phones and pbx's.

  @Sinash Hello, I also have the same problem with SIP phone and ipbx in the cloud. But only with WAN determine with a fixed public IP address.Is it the same for you?
