ER605 Disconnects
Hello, I'm having issues with my router disconnecting from my network on a regular basis. The disconnects don't seem to cause connectivity issues for clients or other Omada switches or APs at first but eventually, the whole network falls apart unless I reboot the router. Today I encountered the issue and it seems the router is disconnecting every hour at the same time. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

@caramb You're still not using the latest Beta firmware which is 2.1.2 Build 20230221 Rel.41247
Beta Firmware Download:
https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2023/202302/20230228/ER605v2_un_2.1.2_20230221(Beta).zip
Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before proceeding!
Beta Release Note:
Fixed the repeating notification of "[Gateway] was connected" issue based on the official firmware 2.1.2_Build 20230210.
I've had no issues after upgrading to this version.

Hi,
You're right.
Comparing the build number (41247 for the beta, 62992 for the official); I assumed the official was including the fix.
But comparing the "release date" (20230221 for the beta, 20230210 for the official) + reading the release notes of the beta, it is definitively not the case.
I will proceed with the upgrade.

I also starting facing this disconnects with the ER605v2. They does not affect the internet connection only the visibility to the controller. In 3 days I got over 10.000 log entries until the ER605 lost his connection to the controller completely.
I installed it december last year.

Sounds good.
It's been 1 week since I upgraded to the beta firmware.
No issue so far.
Recurring connectivity issue and disconnection from the Omada controller issue are both fixed.

I also updated my ER605 v2.0 from firmware
from
Firmware Version: 2.1.2 Build 20230210 Rel.62992
to
Firmware Version: 2.1.2 Build 20230221 Rel.41247 (this is the beta)
and now there are 18hours since the upgrade to the beta firmware with no disconnect issues
If something changes I will give an update.

LOL, I bought a TP-Link ER605 to have a dual wan router so I could connect a second ISP for automatic failover in the rare event that the primary ISP went down, and now my ER605 has gone down for no good reason 3 times in the 6 hours that I have installed it. Way to go, Toilet Paper-Link!
