I have an AP showing in the controller that isnt on our network... it occasionally pops in an out but its definitly not on our network... any idea what this could be? Pic below...
The small wifi type symbol after MANAGED BY OTHERS indicates this a mesh AP. Likely someone near you has this AP on a mesh setup and you are close enough to detect it, so it appears to you.
You wont be able to adopt it as its controlled by them, you have 2 options really.
1. Turn off Mesh under site settings if you are not using Mesh APs (you dont appear to be). This will stop the controller looking for Mesh devices.
2. Blacklist the AP so it gets blocked. Personally never done this and dont have one here to test with, but thinking out loud EAP rule or MAC block might work..
