Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 3.0

can someone help me?, im having a hardtime to make another EAP225-outdoor to be a mesh AP.

i have already tried this:

"To establish a mesh network, follow the steps below.

  • Enable Mesh Function.
  • Adopt the Root AP.
  • Set up wireless uplink by adopting APs in Pending (Wireless) or Isolated status."

ive already adopted one of the EAP225-outdoor as the root AP

and powered up the other EAP225-outdoor, i did not hook it up on my router so it can be detected as wireless AP

but it seems omada controller cant detect this EAP when it is not plugged into LAN.

After that, i hooked it up to my router and it appears and ready to be adopted.

but i cant put it in mesh network. its just like having 2 ROOT AP.

*note:

i dont have OC200, im just using the software version of OMADA CONTROLLER

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME

  @dantemontech

The controller interface you provided is probably an older version of the V3 controller, but your EAPs are all very new firmware versions and are adapted to controller V4 and above.

Suggest you upgrade the controller to V4 or above, take a look:
