Hello everyone, it's the first tread! I don't know if it's here, but well... I have the following drama, I want to connect to Eap225 Outdoor but I can't, I connect it to the PC directly (without a router) and I can't access it. what I notice (because I have 2) in which I cannot access, the light flashes "the green turns solid for 3 seconds, then it flashes green twice and then turns orange for 2 seconds." and it is a loop. Compared to the other Eap225 that stays green.
Is there a way to get in? I've already reset it several times and it's still the same. I enclose a link/video of youtube. Sorry for my English, I speak Spanish. Thanks for everything!

Hola a todos, es primer tread!. No se si es aca, pero bueno... tengo el siguiente drama, quiero conectar a Eap225 Outdoor pero no puedo, lo conecto a la pc directo (sin router) y no puedo acceder. lo que noto (por que tengo 2) en el que no puedo acceder, titila la luz "el verde se pone fijo 3 seg, luego titila 2 veces en verde y luego se poner naranja 2 seg." y es un bucle. Comparado con el otro Eap225 que se queda fijo el verde.
Hay una manera de entrar?, ya lo resete varias veces y sigue igual. Adjunto un link/video de youtube.Lo siento por mi ingles, hablo español. Gracias por todo! Error light

If the default IP: 192.168.0.254 cannot be pinged even after restoring the factory settings and ensuring that the PC and EAP can communicate, then it is highly likely that this EAP is broken. Contact Support is really the best choice.

Have you tried resetting this EAP to try it out?
How exactly did you power up this EAP? Did you use the original POE adapter?
If the EAP is not connected to the router, but PC - EAP, then the IP of the EAP will be the default 192.168.0.254, you need to set a static IP of 192.168.0.X for the PC, to make sure the EAP and PC are in the same subnet and need to communicate with each other.

How exactly did you power up this EAP? Did you use the original POE adapter?

 

-Plugging into "white box-transformer-poe" that comes in the box


If the EAP is not connected to the router, but PC - EAP, then the IP of the EAP will be the default 192.168.0.254, you need to set a static IP of 192.168.0.X for the PC, to make sure the EAP and PC are in the same subnet and need to communicate with each other.

 

-Yes, it is connected directly by LAN to the PC and in configuration it is:

192.168.0.100

255.255.255.0

192.168.0.254

I use windows 7 64bit.

I'm trying to call Tplink Argentina to see if they didn't sell me burned or misconfigured. It is new, just opened the product. Thanks for the quick response.

oh boy. it's bricked. that orange > green is a typical thing for tp-link eap. if that never ends, you gotta get a new. check warranty.

Hello, yes, while I was speaking here with you, I was also communicating with "Tp-link Argentina" and they themselves confirmed that the product they sold me "new" (it's rare), was burned or misconfigured from the factory. Then they asked me to send them to fix it (this guarantee, since it has less than 20 days). Thank you all for prompt help. Seriously, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!
