Model: EAP660 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20220118 Rel. 60852(5553)

EAP 660 HD crash when Clients using intel killer wifi card (1675ax, 1650ax)  download large files. The AP completely reboots. I see several forum posts regarding this issue with other AP and killer wifi cards. Just google "killer wifi kills access point" and you will see what I am talking about

any workaround for this?

  @jd12 From the forum posts, it's hard to tell whether it's the AP issue, did you test the killer wifi card with other APs? Did you contact Killer support to look into this? What does the killer suggest?

Unfortunately, I don't have a killer wifi card to check it, perhaps others can find this post and share something here. If possible, you may try SSH into the EAP and use "dmesg", "top" to check the AP info and CPU operating status when the issue occurs.

  @jd12

I was able to crash mine numerous times when running iperf3 on my MacBook Air back to my NAS, completely rebooted mid-test. Tried switching to a power adaptor to eliminate POE, still crashed. Seemed to improve after firmware v1.1.1 but other anomolies in this Omada setup prompted me to ditch the router and controller recently. EAP660 has since been reset and running happily independent off an  Edgerouter x .... so far.

Do you still hvae this problem or a solution? My killer (1550) card also kills the internet when connecting to a video game, when connected to the deco (m4 and x50) . When i connect my pc straight to the modem i dont have this issue, only when connected to the Deco.

 @Fae Is tp-link looking into this? We've been facing this same issue in past months and never knew what to look for.

  @jd12 Not that I am aware of they sent me a replacement which also has the same issue. looks like we are out of luck. I finally caved in and uninstalled the Killer software/driver that seems to have helped

  @jd12

I have a Dell XPS with killer card and software installed.  It has to disable all the QOS functions within the killer software for it to work properly.

I think Killer WiFi cards a garbage and their software that has stupid features enabled, makes it even worse.

Dear @T-node, @Odys, @EuphoricHacker, @KimcheeGUN@jd12

Thank you for taking the time to report the issue on TP-Link Community!

The issue has been forwarded to the support engineers for investigation. To figure out the issue, could you please provide the detailed model number of your Killer WiFi cards, and try to describe the problem reproduction steps?
