Model: CPE510
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I would like to set up a radio link in three neighboring houses that are max. 120 m away. These lie at an angle of approx. 90°. Transmitter and receiver have line of sight. I have planned TP-LINK EAP225O as the transmitter and TP-LINK CPE510 in the three receiving houses. However, the WIFI should also be received in the house (inside). Is the signal from the TP-LINK CPE510 installed on the roof sufficient or do I need to add another component? Or do you suggest another solution?

  @frage

Client CPE does not provide Wi-Fi signal.

You will need to add other indoor access point on the Clinet CPE side to share the wifi.

Also CPE510 only supports 100Mbps LAN port, that means the speed will be limited by 100Mbps. If your bandwidth is higher than 100Mbps, it's better to choose CPE710, or use another EAP225-Outdoor as the receiver(Mesh).

  @frage as @Somnus stated, the CPE510 port is 100mbps so you are limiting yourself. The CPE710 cost a little more but well worth the performance gain.

I have a very similar setup and get full ISP bandwidth. I recommend a CPE710 and something like an Archer A7 AC1750 at each remote location. Connect the CPE710 in client mode to the EAP225 Outdoor. Since the CPE710 are POE, you can put the included POE injector right near the routers and run an ethernet cable from the LAN port on the POE injector to the routers WAN Port.  Set your routers WAN Port to coincide with the EAP225 and then set your local network to its own subnet. For example my WAN port is 192.168.0.x and my lan is 192.168.1.x

NOTE: You may have to manually set the 5Ghz channel on the EAP225 Outdoor. I had to set mine to 161 otherwise the CPE710 would not even find the EAP225 in Survey in order to join as a client.
