Model: EAP110-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5

Hi, I tried to setup my EAP110-outdoor like a second AP from my mikrotik hotspot (with IP gateway 192.168.2.1). A tplink AP has been previously connected to an ETHER port on the same mikrotik hotspot, with IP 192.168.2.110.

My question is, how do I setup this second AP? Dynamic or static, and how i disable the DHCP server?

Hey

My question is, how do I setup this second AP? Dynamic or static, and how i disable the DHCP server?

Its likely just easiest to leave this on Dynamic, from what you are describing it would be easier for you to configure.     In term of a DHCP server, the EAP110 doesnt have one so that isnt an issue.

Just let the 110 get an IP from the Mikrotik (.110 i think you said) and log into it, configure it the same as your other SSID (password and security) and that should do the job for you.

Anyone connected to the EAP110 will get an IP from the Mikrotek

Hi  @Philbert, thanks for your reply.

Then, i´ll configure the same SSID that the previously AP, select dynamic network, and what i do with the fallback ip? i must disable it?

  @Richard_Vla

You can set a fallback IP if you wish, however if you lose connection to the point you need to use the fallback.. then your clients wont get addresses either so its all stuffed

I would just ignore the fallback or set it for .111 something like that.  You wont need it :)
