Hello All,

 

Just purchased my first ER7206, thing seems to work fine.

 

1 Thing that really annoys me is that the Web Gui is really slow, especially when using remote management.

Is this a common issue or am i doing something wrong?

 

I have enabled remote management (0.0.0.0/0), changed the default ports to other ones because of security :)

Not sure this issue.

I'm using software controller, so I can login and manage the router via https://omada.tplinkcloud.com/

And the controller software is free, I really recommend it

I know the cloudcontroller, but I also want to know if the webgui is slow with everyone or just me. 

If the controller ever goes down or gets discontinued, I want normal to devices :)

  @LittleBam this was reported in an older firmware version and fixed. I think you'll see it's better if you update to latest firmware.

This is common problem for all TP-Link business routers (6120, 480T+, 7206 etc.)

As far as I know it happens only when you are using custom HTTPS server port and opening router's web-interface in Chromium.

The same port config in Firefox works just fine.

  @LittleBam How did you setup the Remote management? The user guide wasn't very clear for me.
