Hi all,

i succeeded in establishing my client 2 lan vpn. So my laptop, using my iphone as hotspot, connect through vpn l2tp/ipsec

to my 7206 gateway (controlled by oc200)

i get an ip adress and can do things as i was on my local network

now is my question, how can i make sure that also al my internet traffic from my laptop goes through my 7206 gateway.

i like this to have for when i am abroad in a hotel or at work, so i can make sure my traffic is not monitored, and so i can use tv app from my country

If I remember correctly, the newer models like the ER605 and ER7206 have their L2TP set up to proxy the internet access through the ER7206 by default.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

If I remember correctly, the newer models like the ER605 and ER7206 have their L2TP set up to proxy the internet access through the ER7206 by default.

You can do a Public IP address look up (Whats My IP) on your device. So you can confirm what gateway you're going out of.

 

Google... force windows traffic over VPN. There are a few settings to check/confirm that Windows is pushing all traffic across the VPN.

@virgo, Yes, you were right. I checked this and via vpn, i use the gateway from my network to go onto the internet Thanks Patrick
