Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2

Hello everyone. I have a problem. I bought an EAP670. I decided to test it, the situation is like this... At 5GHz, everything seems to be normal. 2.4 big questions, with all android smartphones the speed in any application is 0.5 -2.5 mbps both ways. With a laptop, the speed is more than 100mbps, with an iphone 13 20-40mbps (which is also very small). One computer over the network, from it (and on it and testing iperf3 and copying files) Copying files to android phones 100Kb\s. Similarly in speedtest. Changed channels, power, width, no interference, distance 1 m. When Bandsteering when switching to 2.4GHz drops to zero. Therefore, IOT devices will not work. And they won't take it in the service, (the laptop works fine in 2.4) Help me, my head is swollen. PS. controller in the form of an application on a computer over LAN, from R605v2 and EAP670 devices (with a native power supply) Firmware AP 670(EU)_V1_1.0.1 Build 20211203 then put AP 670(EU)_V1_1.0.2 Build 20210 There is no difference

@mur77 Even with 1 client (with speeds less than 1 mbit) In the OMADA interface, it shows USED 80-85% in the 2.4 GHz channel. At the moment, it is very important to understand...What is the problem? 1)In the software controller 2)In the R605v2 Gateway (which now works both as a switch and as a gateway) 3) The problem is in EAP670 (which must be carried to the service, and it takes a very long time to prove)

A full reset doesn't change anything

The 2.4G channel is very congested, and the 2.4G band is very volatile and subject to a lot of interference, as many of the appliances we use in our daily lives operate in the 2.4G band.

For more information, suggest you read this post, which explains in detail:

I have a private house outside the city. in the wifi monitor, you won't see any other waves, even going outside the yard. Over the years, I have accumulated many different soho routers, to which many IOT devices, cameras, sockets, sensors were connected. And I have never seen such problems when the speeds were at the level of 5-40mbps (and at some time they disappeared almost to zero), Some ticks in the properties helped, I saw how the speeds were restored to 50mbps (although with the old routers 50 I considered very low in 2.4 GHz) and was happy at last I found it. But half an hour later it was falling to zero again. I repeat, there is not a single obstacle. Taking out one of the old routers, I made sure that everything works exceptionally fast and reliable!!! Don't tell me and advise me what you don't know. Here on the forum I found several similar questions over the past year, and there is no answer to any of them!!! 2.4GHz technology has been worked out perfectly over the years, why reinvent the wheel??? With heaps of settings that are essentially designed for the most outdated devices. What for?
I opened a topic on Reddit, the situation is not new. Many have also encountered these problems

Why in 2022 in the Omada system leave the Hosts the opportunity to fall into mode B and G (in 2.4GHz). Then sit and guess which combination of off and on ticks DISABLES these modes??? Some stupid sliders have been invented, NOT BELOW a certain speed. By default, Android devices in the 2.4 range work in KILOBITS, a big tambourine and strong nerves are required to raise the speed and stability of IOT devices. A country house, the nearest neighbor in 100 meters, absolutely free Air. The new top point is EAP670, and such a disappointment. At the same time, the laptop and iPhones work fine, but everything else crawls about 1mbit. It would be better if I got an AP DEFECT, I would change everything. But damn it ...that's how it's meant to be!

I connected the EAP670 to another router. It works perfectly, the coverage is impressive, Speedtest iperf, copying files is all smooth and stable. At all distances. Or you need to fix it in the next firmware....Or give detailed instructions on which parameters to use in order to exclude the operation mode of the hosts in 2.4GHz B/G to leave only N. Or something is working incorrectly. I created a table where everything is clearly visible. With another router, Iperf shows even speeds, both for 1 stream and for 8 streams, I checked 5 different smartphones and 2 laptops. But in the Omada system, packets are disappearing, speeds are jumping, complete instability
