Can't See SSID - EAP610-Outdoor
Can't See SSID - EAP610-Outdoor
The SSID does not seem to be broadcasting. I'n operating in EAP standalone mode and I can see the EAP in the App and on the web, but can not see the SSID on my iPhone or Computer. I have tried to do a factory reset and cannot see the default SSID prior to setting up my own SSID. I have ensured the broadcast is enabled. I've uninstalled it and plugged directly into the switch and I am within arms length away (to rule out any distance issues). I have tried without Security. I have tried manual channel. I have tried various wireless modes. I have tried 2.4GHz only. I have tried to turn off the SSID broadcast and manually enter SSID from phone and computer.
I have tried directly into POE switch and also witht he inkector.

Am I missing something? My only conclusion is it's faulty.

@Hank21 Same problem here with not seeing SSID any longer. Received it July 7th from Amazon, set it up at my new home and could see SSID, worked well.
Left on July 8th, came back July 12th and the SSID is no longer visible to my devices. Tried on my Pixel 6 that I was able to use it with the day I set it up, have since tried locating it on my Galaxy tablet as well, same result. Had power cycled the device, switched ports, checked my wifi router to ensure it did not become blocked by the routers security, connected to the EAP via the Omada app, I can see it like other posts have described, tried different things, it's seeming defunct. The SSID is just not there. Any updates on a resolution? About to return it for another brand, read above where one customer had 4 of their 11 EAP devices doing this. Thank you Hank!

@Gefford I was never able to get it fixed. Luckily I was still within the return period so I returned it and got another one. The new one worked fine.
