Hey all,

I am currently trying to get mDNS to work across a some of my VLANs. I am currently running PFSense as my router, have open firewall rules, and am running Avahi to enable mDNS on my VLANs.

After I've done this, I can see the google devices on my other VLAN network, but am unable to connect/cast.

I've also attempted to get mDNS enabled on the cotroller of the EAP670, but to no avail. I can see the devices, but I cannot connect/cast to them.

Am I missing a cruicial part to the setup?

You might be hitting the bug that causes most traffic between VLAN's for wifi clients connected to the same EAP to fail. It was fixed in a beta FW for the EAP 670 a few months ago. It might also be fixed in FW versions newer than 1.0.3

Thank you for the heads up. Could you point me in the right direction of this beta update? Or, is it possible to downgrade to 1.0.2?
