Good day,

 

Please help me with my concern. What does this means,

 

Module: Firewall  |  Level: NOTICE  |  Content: "detected ARP conflict and dropped 1 packets."

Module: DHCP Server  |  Level: NOTICE  |  Content: "DHCP Server allocated IP address 10.30.0.x

 

Device used:

TL-ER605 -             IP: 10.30.0.1 , MAC: C0-06-C3-A8-07-C3

TP-Link AC1200 -   IP: 10.30.0.4 , MAC: 10-27-F5-EB-F5-EA  -  ACCESS POINT

TL-WA855RE -       IP:10.30.0.3 , MAC: B2-A7-B9-0C-43-D1  -   WI-FI EXTENDER

 

 

Before I have no problem with this running for almost less than 2yrs then suddenly I found out that there is an error in system log, because we encountered no internet connection almost all of the workstation.

 

Also, we encountered no internet connection on Wi-Fi even the mobile device is connected (especially on Facebook Messenger: Waiting for Network status)

There is a solution post here which is related to your issue, please check it and install the new firmware to try.

 

If it doesn't help, please tell us whether it happens after firmware upgraded?

How many clients totally in your network?

Did you set any DHCP Reservation for them?

Good day,

 

Successful Firmware Upgraded using ER605(UN)_v1_1.2.2_Build 20230208 (Beta).  Please see bin file attached.

 

After upgrading, still encountering the same issue at system log.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How many clients totally in your network? - We have almost 30 clients

 

Did you set any DHCP Reservation for them? - Yes, also using IP MAC-Binding to set a dedicated IP on specific client.

"detected suspected ARP attack packets"

"DHCP server received decline client 10.30.0.x. IP address xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx"

"detected ARP conflict and dropped 1packets"

 

Is DHCP Reservation working properly? not sure, because I encountered an duplicate IP on the network.

 

Can you give the stable solution for this concern

Hi Support

TPLINK ER605 error keeps reporting arp package conflict even though it has been carefully checked, but the message still exists and occurs from the old firmware version to the latest ER605(UN)_V1_1.3.0 Build 20230511 still occurs
With the same configuration, when powering off and reopening, there is no error message, and when rebooting, an arp conflict error message occurs ????????
