Hey

The minumum you need for a Mesh deployment is

A Controller  (Hardware OC200/300 or Software)

2x EAPs

In terms of what EAPs support Mesh, its all the EAPs in the 2xx and 6xx range.

Yes

In honesty, thats the better option for you.   Omada Mesh will be easier to setup and manage

If you power on a EAP225 v3 (or newer) it will appear in the Omada controller within a few minutes, it can take a few minuites from experience..   Once there just adopt it wirelessly, you will see a small WiFi type symbol near it

Just remember to enable mesh in the setting on the controller!

Hi there! If you're looking to build a wireless network of EAPs with mesh Technology, the Omada products you should consider are the Omada EAP610. It supports mesh technology and will enable you to create a seamless wireless network.

The vast majority of the EAPs in the Omada range support WiFi, however to run a MESH solution you do need a controller online (OC200/300 or Software)
