Need help with port forwarding for Plex server outside my network (ER605)
Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot an issue
My current setup is ISP modem in bridge mode - ER605 v2.0 router - Omada Controller. My Synology NAS is connected to the router and has a fixed IP of 192.168.0.10.
My goal is to access my Plex server outside my home network, but I'm having trouble with port forwarding. Specifically, I need to forward port 32400 to the fixed IP of my NAS. I have attempted this setup .However, it seems that the setup is not working as intended.
Any ideas on what could be causing this issue and how to resolve it? I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you!

Hi, what is the wan ip of ER605?
If it is a private IP, you also need to open the port on the front-end NAT device.

@RicardoVR , I have a ER7206, I did the same thing and also tried UPNP and also Port Triggering but my Plex only shows connection for a few minutes and then display again "Not available outside your network"
Did you find a solution?

Ensure port forwarding is correctly configured on the ER605 router to forward port 32400 to the NAS IP (192.168.0.10). Double-check firewall settings.

I am having an issue where the remote play bandwith is capped at 10Mbps 1080p. Internally I am able to play in original quality. This was not an issue before the ER605 got set up.

@RicardoVR I too am having this same issue. I have the ports set in Virtual Servers, plex shows as accessible, but any remote play goes through the relay.
