THe 223 seems to support the newer AT POE standard, otherwise as you say its identical!

 

Wonder is it just a refresh of the hardware as the 225 is very popular, however that already happened with the 225 v4... frown    this model makes no sense!

Exactly. My distributors are advertising this new EAP and asked me if I wanted to reserved some for my future installment.

 

No idea why this new version of EAP225 is even made for.

Update: I bought the EAP223. They do not have the POE injector and the Ethernet cable. So that's why the price is cheaper with very minor and newer function.
