Dear Community,

I read a lot of threads but i didn't find a detailed instruction.

I want to connect two EAP 225 wirelessly (wireless bridge perhaps 50 meters) to get Internet into a building where my device which need Internet is located.

Like this one: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/251626

Setup: Internet -> Modem -> Switch -> Switch -> PoE -> EAP 225 )))))))) EAP 225 - PoE -> Device

-> wired

)))) wireless

EAP 225 (AC1200) V3 - 4. .... build

My problem is the configuration. I don't find the mesh function in the Omada software controller (lastest Version v5.9.31).

Do i have to connect the 2 EAP 225 in the same network wired first and then disconnect one of them to get a wireless bridge between them?

Everytime i connect via Wlan with one EAP - i can only config. this one. But there is also no mesh function to enable....

Mfg

  Dear @Virgo,

Thx for the fast reply.

Finally it worked :D

1. I connected the 2 EAP 225 wired in the same network.

2. I created a side and adopt the 2 EAP 225 to it.

3. I enabled the Mesh function.

4. I created a wireless network with the 2.

5. I disconnected the one EAP 225.

6. It worked :D

I hope it help´s, if someone have the same problem.
