Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.1 Build 20220223 Rel.68551

Shouldn't the system logs show when the ISP service has issues or drops completely?

or

When the router itself is having connection issues?

I ask since at various times I we drop off line but I see nothing indicating why.

Thanks for the reply. However, I am seeing a different menu layout for the Online detection, where it is set to 'auto' where the DNS server of the WAN port is used as the destination. Finding this preset, I'm still curious as to if this a log-able event during failure?

There are quite a number of 'detectable' events related to WAN health.  Have you looked here? (Logs->Notifications)

Mmmm ok.  Have you tried a SYSLOG logger, or even an SNMP poller app to see if there is more detail not exposed by the WebUI in standalone mode?  Clearly it must exist if the Omada controller can 'see' it.

Have not used a SNMP poller, but have recorded SYSLOG and given the exact same results as what the ER605 system log. Maybe it's time for Omada controller for that location.

VLAN 4093 is the WAN VLAN.  there is some detail in the SNMP info...not as much as in the controller logs...not that I've found yet anyways
