Firmware Version: 1.7.0 Build 20200113 Rel. 35383

My 2 EAP225's keep disconnecting even though FW is up to date. I have good internet speed so can't work out why.

Am on Omada Controller V3.2.17

I am wondering if I can back up current version and download a later version (4 or 5?) whether it is compatible and whether I can just adopt the EAP's into the new controller?

Anyone had the same issues or can advise?

Edit - Should I not have updated the firmware.....disconnected again!

Controller 3.2 is rather old now and no longer supported by the latest firmwares, so this could be your issue and would certainly be my recommendation to update to a v5 SDN.

 

You may however need to manually update the APs to the latest firmware from the support section before adopting them into a v5 controller.
