Model: ER7206 (TL-ER7206)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: ER7206(UN)_V1_1.3.0 Build 20230322

Hi TP-LinkSFP WAN PPPoe VLAN not editable,

I encountered lost of Internet connection using SFP WAN PPPoe after updating firmware from ER7206(UN)_V1_1.2.1 2 into ER7206(UN)_V1_1.3.0. Multiple PADI time out.PPPoE failing. Internet VLAN disabled in advanced option

The reason is that the internet PPPoe VLAN field is grayed out in ER7206(UN)_V1_1.3.0 and you cannot specify the value.

I downgraded into firmware ER7206(UN)_V1_1.2.3, the PPPoe Vlan field is editable and I need to click 802.1Q tag in order to work (this 802.1Q tag field is not in V1_1.2.1).

After my internet from ISP is established, it did upgraded to V1_1.3.0. The behavior was that the V1.30 did took the field value from the previous VLAN tag V1_1.2.3 and "locked it" as unedited field.

After clearing cache in Edge and chrome, the vlan option is gone from the advance settings.

internet vlan removed from PPPoE advanced option Internet vlan removed from SFP WAN - PPPoE advanced option

Is this an expected behavior?

Thank you.

@Ben_P Yes, it works for me too. There are other issues with the PPPoE connections but this particular critical problem has been fixed,
