Custom DDNS with duckdns in Omada Controler is not working
I am trying to configure a ddns with Omada Controler version 5.9.31.
My configuration is:
Username: nouser
Password: duckdns-token
Domain:
I can't see a log with errors to understand wich is the problem.
Thank you in advance.

hardware ER605 v2.0
Firmware 2.2.2 Build 20231017 Rel.68869
two things
- the duckdns token is truncated in the password field (only the first 32 chars are accepted)
- I can't enter multiple domains in the domain name fields
to bypass, I changed the update url to
h t t p s : / / w w w . d u c k d n s . o r g /update?domains=my_domain1,my_domain2,my_domain3&token=my_token&text=[DOMAIN][PASSWORD][USERNAME]
the &text=[DOMAIN][PASSWORD][USERNAME] is neutral for the update but [DOMAIN][PASSWORD][USERNAME] are mandatory in the url syntax
enter whatever you want in the account name, password and domain name.
and voilà ... it's now working

Hello @JaviDiez,
May I double confirm more details about the DDNS not sending updates issue as follow?
1. Do you mean the public WAN IP is updated but the duckdns domain name resolves to a WAN IP that is still not updated (unchanged)?
2. How did you find this issue?
For example, you try to trigger the WAN IP change manually and then find the DDNS domain name resolves to a WAN IP that is still not updated.
Or you found there are no DDNS update logs on the controller so you thought the duckdns was not updated.
3. Could you please confirm if the IP shown in your duckdns server is the same as the current WAN IP?
You may try resolving the domain name on the PC with the nslookup command to see if the IP returned is correct.
Here is the link (point1 and 4) for your reference.
4. You may try different Time inteval for testing.

Thank you for your answer.
1.- That's right, there is no change.
2.- When active the configuration in Omada Controler there is no change.
3.- It is the same that duckds has got registred and not updated with the WAN IP.
4.- I have changed Time interval to 6 hours, but nothing, it's not working.
Thanks.

Hello again.
I have done what the post says, but nothing.
I only left ro make a hard reset and configure again.
Can I see logs with ddns errors?
Thanks.

Ups. I have probed with No-IP and it's working, but I have to confirm evary month that the DDNS it's active.
Duckdns is a very easy and free DDNS.
Thank you for your help.
