TL-SG3210 inter-vlan communication not working
Hello everyone,
I am having trouble with inter-vlan communication on the TL-SG3210 switch, which I am currently using in standalone mode.
The configuration was done only in the GUI, no CLI.
I have 3 VLANS setup as follows:
1. Default VLAN, ID 1 - 192.168.10.2 - VLAN Interface
2. VLAN ID 20 - port 7(untagged) on the switch, 192.168.20.1 - VLAN Interface
3. VLAN ID 30 - port 8(untagged) on the switch, 192.168.30.1 - VLAN Interface
In the port config i setup the PVID for port 7 and port 8 as 20 and 30 respectively.
The routing table was updated automatically as such
Routing is enabled at the Interface level
DHCP is enabled on all VLANS and also Pools are created. When I physically connect a device in port 7 - it automatically is assigned an IP address from the 192.168.20.0/24 network and when I connect a device in port 8 - it gets an IP Address from the 192.168.30.0/24 as expected.
As this is a layer 3 switch what I want to achieve is to be able to communicate from VLAN 20 to VLAN 30 and also from VLAN 1 to VLAN 30 without a gateway; I was under the impression that by default inter-vlan communication is enabled and this can be restricted with the use of ACLs but I didn't manage to make the communication work and I am not sure what I am doing worng.
Any suggestion is useful.
