Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.2.0

Hi,

I am trying to restrict access to two of my lan interfaces. I am doing this by IP-MAC binding all available IP address's in the subnet. The router should do IP/Mac filtering but it doesn't and that seems to be a separate subject of discussion. I have assigned an IP address to a Mac and to test Ive set a PC with the incorrect MAC statically to that IP. I am able to connect to the internet and see all IP addresses and communicate with them. All I get from the router is this alert - detected ARP conflict and dropped 4 packets.

What am I doing wrong, is there a simpler method to achieve my goal of only allowing certain MAC addresses onto two of my lan interfaces?

I am not using any managed switches, just the ER605(V2.0 2.2.0) controller and EAP's

Thanks

Hi @Anthony1001

If you are restricting the access between two interfaces, please refer to the FAQ: How to configure Multi-Networks & Multi-SSIDs on Omada SDN Controller

It does not need to bind every IP address to a MAC address. If you are using your network for a professional network, you can consider disabling DHCP and using your network as a static network. For common users, it is no need to do so.

Currently, it just supports blocking between LAN interfaces. If you need to specify certain IPs and ports, you need to use Switch ACL.
