ER605 frequently disconnects from OC200 after upgrading to firmware 2.2.0
Hi,
My ER605 disconnects from OC200 controller frequently(every couple of hours) after upgrading to the latest 2.2.0 firmware. However, the internet is still functioning in this case even OC200 controller shows as disconnect. I had to power cycle the router for the OC200 controller to re-adopt back into the system. My OC200 hardware is v1.0 and OC200 firmware is 1.24.0 build 20230328 rel 52384.
If I revert back to ER605 firmware to earlier version of 2.1.2build 20230221(beta), the disconnect issues goes away. Is there a workaround to resolve this issue instead of having to power cycle the router after every few hours. If not, I guess I have to downgrade my system to the previous stable version.
Thanks.

Hello,
same problem here.
1. WAN connection type - PPOE connection.
2. Topology: Modem (Draytek Vigor 167) -> Router ER605 -> Omada Software Controller (Linux) - Switch TL-SG2428P - 2x EAP653 - 1x EAP225-Outdoor - 1x EAP650 (Wireless Downlink) - Switch TL-SG2008P
3. Omada Software Controller (5.9.31) running in Container (Linux)
4. Current running Firmware on ER605: 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012
Gateway ER605 gets disconnected, internet is working. Very annoying. After cold reboot, its connected for a few hours/days. After that its disconnected again.

Hi @marcwa122
As for your controller on the docker, I am sorry that the Linux version is not available yet. To resolve your issue, please roll back your firmware to the previous one as a temporary solution.

@Clive_A Thank you. I guess you mean the ER605 Firmware? How can i do this / Where i can find the previous Firmware File for download?
So this issue is a Bug in the Firmware related to the Controller-Version? Will there soon be a fix also for Linux Controllers? Thanks.

Please roll back your ER605 firmware. You can find the firmware here.
For each release, the firmware will adapt to a version of the controller. We suspect that may be related to compatibility.

Upgrade the OC200 controller to v5.11.10 and rebooting my ER605 seems to have fixed the disconnecting issue for me. ER605 doesnt disconnect but am getting the occasional ER605 was connected event (approx every 5-12 hours).

this morning the gateway was disconnected again...

Why is the gateway so unstable? Is this a hardware issue or software issue?
Sorry to say that, but this does not seem to be "business ready" hard/software.
