Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.1

My EAPs are connected via cat6. when i check in settings, i see that the connection is 100 not 1000, i wonder why.

  @rakrouki  First recommendation without further information would be to try a different cable. If you don't have another one long enough to reach the EAP location, take the EAP down and bench test it closer to the modem, router or switch with a shorter cable.

 

You also mentioned EAPs (plural).

 

How may EAPs?

Are they all wired?

What are the wired EAP(s) connected to?

What POE adapter are you using and does that POE Adapter Port support 1000?

Make sure the ports on the device they are connected to support 1000 and that the ports have not been inadvertently set to 100.

Cable is suspect:

- switch port is only 10/100

- too long

- broken wire in a pair

- poor crimp

- inferior connector/plastic fin damaged between pins
