Model: EAP610-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20230509 Rel. 67330

OC200 v1 5.9.32;

TL-R605 v1.0 Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20230511 Rel.51317

TL-SG2210MP v1.0 Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20230602 Rel.73473

The EAP610-Outdoor on the terrace is connected to the gigabit port on the LAN switch, but it still selects a WLAN connection to an EAP225-Outdoor as the uplink. Why this? I checked the cable, it's okay, a LAN patch cable as a replacement has the same result. What can I do so that the EAP610 chooses the direct route as the uplink and not the detour via another access point?

  @MeshFan

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?   Did you try disabling MESH to see if it forces it onto the LAN?   You only need MESH enabled if you want the APs to talk over WiFi, otherwise its of no use.

You need to go to SETTINGS > SITE and in there disable (uncheck) the box for MESH

That will stop the APs talking via WiFi, therefore leaving only the wired backhaul and hopefully fixing your issue.   If it loses connection after MESH is off, then it could be the LAN connection itself needs checked

  @Philbert

Thanks, I switched MESH off and then the AP had no connection. After switching MESH on again, the WLAN-Uplink was established again. Because the LAN-Cable was already checked, I looked at the Port of the LAN-Switch: Rx 0 Bytes! That means the receiver is damaged, probably because of overvoltage while a lighning.

New hardware then, not the answer you wanted but at least you got there!  MESH will keep you functioning a while until you get the switch replaced.

I have the same issue as MeshFan. My Network contains 5 EAP610 and two EAP610 Outdoor. Both EAP610 Outdoor are using wireles uplinks instead of the (function tested) LAN. All indoor EAP610 are using the LAN uplink

Hi

I had the same problems with firmware 1.2.0.

This is not a hardware error, since I switched back to version 1.1.3. everything is good!
